A Few Words About Us

We founded the Law offices of Skipper & Skipper, P.A. in June of 1980, and have established offices in downtown New Port Richey, and in Spring Hill, by the waterfall.

The focus of our firm’s service is estate planning.  In accomplishing those goals for our clients, we individually draft documents which will assist families both before and after the death of our clients.

During lifetime, it is important to set out Advanced Care Directives, allowing family and/or friends to assist in the day-to-day functions of our personal business and our health care needs.  These can be accomplished by executing Durable Power of Attorneys, Health Care Surrogate Designations, and Living Wills.

In anticipating a departure from this world, preparations for our property should include a Will or a Trust.  A Will can set forth burial instructions and provide for personal property to pass to loved ones.  It can also direct where real property should pass, as well as much more.

If our clients own real property outside of Florida, or if our clients must control the manner in which beneficiaries will receive their inheritances, then we usually recommend a Revocable Living Trust.  There are other trusts, however, such as those which will save on estate taxes, and we offer free consultations to members of AARP to assist them in making the correct choices.

We also offer a discount percentage on legal fees to current members of AARP.
